Indian Society of Emergency and Cardiac Nurses is a professional, non-profitable society registered under section 2 of the “SOCIETIES REGISTRATI0N ACT, 1860” as applicable to the National capital of Delhi, India, with a vision of empowering community health and wellness through outstripping the personal, professional and social standards of health care providers, primarily nurses. 

Our society takes pride in being the first in the country to represent trained emergency and cardiac nurses.

We understand that nurses and allied health professionals play a decisive role in emergency and cardiac care. ISECN aims high in setting standards for emergency and cardiac nursing care in the country. We serve as an interface for sharing knowledge, translating scientific pieces of evidence into practice, and setting priorities for the future.

The Academic Council of the Indian Society of Emergency and Cardiac Nurses (ISECN) is a specialized body within the organization that focuses on academic and educational aspects related to emergency and cardiac nursing. It comprises experienced nurses, educators, researchers, and experts in the field who work collaboratively to promote excellence in nursing education, research, and practice. 

The Nurses Initiative for Community Empowerment (NICE)

The Nurses Initiative for Community Empowerment (NICE) is a program initiated by the Indian Society of Emergency and Cardiac Nurses (ISECN) with the aim of empowering nurses to make a positive impact on their communities. NICE recognizes the unique position of nurses as frontline healthcare providers and believes that they can play a vital role in promoting health and well-being beyond the clinical setting. 

Nurses Across the Border

“Nurses across the Borders” is a groundbreaking initiative led by the Indian Society of Emergency and Cardiac Nurses (ISECN) that fosters international collaboration, knowledge exchange & cultural understanding among nurses across borders.
